Well, after playing this incredible instrument for over 25 years professionally, I am going to say goodbye to my old friend.

We have grown up together in the music business, survived the Professional Scene in Dallas for 16 years, and have traveled all over the world together from Coast to Coast, Canada to Mexico playing concerts, Conventions, and private engagements.

Specs:
Schecter ASH Stratocaster body, natural blonde ash, no lacquer finish, just the wood;
Brass pickguard
  - high gloss, some pitting;

Single string Bridge assembly
  -
to allow intonation on each string to be adjusted.

Three Vintgage Schecter single coil - double tapped pickups:
  - first tap is at 6,000 winds
  - second is at 10,000 winds (for a fatter sound),
  - each pick-up has it's own double-pole,
     triple throw switch
to switch from 6,000
wind (regular strat) to 10,000 wind position,
     or off.
  - This allows for many tonal combinations:

1. Neck PU - 6,000 winds - normal strat
2. Neck PU - off
3. Neck PU - 10,000 winds - Hot Blues, Rock, Jazz

4. Middle PU - 6,000 winds - normal strat mid PU
5. Middle PU - off
6. Middle - 10,000 winds - Hot Country & Rock

7. Bridge PU - 6,000 winds - normal
8. Bridge PU - off
9. Bridge PU - 10,000 winds - Hot rock & Blues

1 Logarithmic Volume Pot
  - a straight line gain 0-10, unlike gain between 7,8,9 and 10.
Great for direct to board, and sensitive control

1 Logarithmic Tone Pot

1978 Fender Stratocaster Maple NECK (large scroll)

  -  4 BOLTS on neck plate - most desireable!
  -  sweetened beyond belief
  - Put on a "jig" by a very gifted luthier and
    absolutely balanced/tweaked for intonation, fret
consistency [using lifter spacer/timers for cars!].

Brass Nut
  - increased sustain
  - increased tone

Original Fender Tuners
  - very tight, no slippage

THEN, You can mix them ALL together in ANY combination for Out-Of-Phase "poppy" sound, Bridge/Neck Les Paul sound, and on and on.

I got rid of two Les Paul Twenty Anniversary guitars (One Black, One White!) for this one in 1974.

I have played it professionally for over 26 years.  Opening shows for the likes of The Roches Sisters, Jerry Lee Lewis, O. B. Mclinton, The Kendalls, etc, as well as my own shows in Canada and Mexico.
